Ambitus neckwarmer

I got some mail regarding the pattern of this neckwarmer, so here it is.



3,5 mm and 4 mm circulars
110 - 120 grams or about 240 - 250 meters of medium or light weight yarn
18 - 19 st and 28 rows is 4 in/10 cm in stockinette stitch with needles 4 mm

Using 3,5 mm needles cast on 116 stitches, join and k1, p1 till 14 cm (or more if you want longer neck part). Change to 4 mm needles and start increasings:

1. row: *k1, p1, k1, p1, increase one stitch picking up the horizontal thread between two stitches and purl through the back of the loop* repeat to the end of the row

2. row: *k1, p1, k1, p2* repeat to the end of the row

3. row: *k1, p1, increase one stitch picking up the horizontal thread between two stitches and purl through the back of the loop, k1, p2* repeat to the end of the row

4. - 7. row: *k1, p2* repeat to the end of the row

8. row: *k1, p2, k1, p2, increase one stitch picking up the horizontal thread between two stitches and knit through the back of the loop* repeat to the end of the row

9. - 13. row: *k1, p2, k1, p2, k1* repeat to the end of the row

14. row: *k1, p2, increase one stitch picking up the horizontal thread between two stitches and knit through the back of the loop, k1, p2, k1* repeat to the end of the row

15. - 20. row: *k1, p2, k2, p2, k1* repeat to the end of the row

21. row: *k1, p2, k2, p2, increase one stitch picking up the horizontal thread between two stitches and knit through the back of the loop, k1* repeat to the end of the row

22. - 28. row: *k1, p2, k2, p2, k2* repeat to the end of the row

29. row: *k1, p2, increase one stitch picking up the horizontal thread between two stitches and knit through the back of the loop, k2, p2, k2* repeat to the end of the row

30. - 37. row: *k1, p2, k3, p2, k2* repeat to the end of the row

Cast off. Turn over and wear.
