Neulojien vetoomus Hubert Burda Medialle

Susan Reishus ja Laritza Taft kehottavat meitä neulojia vetoamaan saksalaiseen Burda-kustantamoon, jotta se julkaisisi mm. Herbert Nieblingin suunnittelemien todella kauniiden neulottujen pitsiliinojen ohjeet uudelleen vaikkapa kokoelmana. Ohjeita on julkaistu vuosien varrella Burda- ja Burda Anna-lehdissä, mutta nyt niitä ei enää saa mistään.

An effort has been made before to contact them about the Herbert Niebling patterns, and perhaps a "Best Of" collection that could be published with all of their best patterns. Attempts have been made in various ways, with little success, and it has been decided that the best way to approach this, is with a grass roots mass mailing of regular hand written or typed short letters or notes from individual knitters, to the publisher themselves, as emails often get overlooked or deleted.

Please consider, even if you have a mild interest, in investing the price of a stamp, and five minutes of your time, to write the publisher a brief message, encouraging them to publish all of the Herbert Niebling patterns and/or a collection of their best lace patterns for sale because of the increasing demand.

It is in German but there is an email on there. We are better off I think, sending a letter. Emails can get deleted or ignored easy but if we send letters the bulk might do it! Imagine them receiving hundreds or thousands of requests!.....
